- Call to Order – President Rodriguez called the meeting to order at 6:03pm

- Board members present: President Rodriguez, Vice President Patrick Sullivan, Secretary/Treasurer Kaitlin Hakanson, At-large Member Minea Kiss (present virtually), Absent: none
- General members present: Tabita Rodriguez
- Guests: Taylor Hampton (IYS)
- Old Business
- Meet with Mayor Westfall to discuss use of Richmond (Recreation) Park as a community garden area for Sustainable Klamath in conjunction with IYS – Isabel – Discussion about possible uses for Recreation Park. Taylor indicated that she has received permission to have IYS excavate the north side of the building, adding raised beds with irrigation. They will also be adding landscaping on the west side/E. Main side of the building. Patrick offered his services for excavating – will speak with Craig at IYS.
- New Business
- Grant for security cameras – Isabel – Plan to create a flyer about the city’s reimbursement program for security systems.
- Midge Festival – Isabel – Revisited the plans some local residents are putting together to host a midge festival this summer. Would be similar to the mosquito festival in Paisley – more info to come. The Children’s Hunger Coalition is interested in being involved (MNA and IYS are partners in this organization).
- Public Comment
- Isabel – be careful when walking around at night, especially when crossing the street. Difficult to see and slippery.
- Kaitlin – new protected crosswalks are being installed on S. 6th St.
- Isabel/Taylor – Summer events – Farmers Market will likely happen again with COVID restrictions. Could get a table at the event. No Third Thursday planned for this year.
