AMENDED MINUTES
- Call to Order – President Isabel called the meeting to order at 6:09pm
- Roll Call
- Board members present: President Isabel Rodriguez, Secretary/Treasurer Kaitlin Hakanson, At-large Member Taylor Hampton. Absent: Vice President Patrick Sullivan (excused), At-large Member Minea Kiss (unexcused).
- General members present: none
- Old Business
- Flags – Isabel got a quote of $684.05 for 8 flags along East Main Street using our contest winner’s design from TheFlagandBanner.com. The quote was shared with Taylor to arrange for payment.
- New Business
- Third Thursday – Isabel will represent MNA at the event. Any other volunteers are appreciated. Taylor will see if MNA can get access to the IYS building downtown during the event.
- Beautification of bus stop near Gino’s – Klamath County Association of Realtors (KCAR) will be working on this project.
- Sale of Mills Community Garden – purchased by Garth Hudson. Sustainable Klamath is working on reclaiming items that were still on the property when ownership changed hands.
- Property at East Main and Vine – Property owner is now 3 years past due on their taxes on the property. It’s unlikely that they will be able to pay off what is owed.
- Donation towards tiles for Moore Park Playground – Chris Springmann donated an additional $20 in support of our effort for this fundraiser.
- Public Comment
- IYS building will no longer be the Nutrition Hub. Will now be the meeting place for the Work to Learn program. Park and Play has started for the season with congregate eating.
- Taqueria Jalisciense is moving to the old Wendy’s building. East Main Market has a new paint job. It looks great!
